This is one of the ten rarest Saint Gauden Double Eagles. With an original mintage of only 22,000 pieces, this is the lowest mintage date in the series. These are very underrated with a PCGS population of only 13 coins! This coin displays satiny luster over clean surfaces and a strong strike, with none of the "Euro look" typical of this date. This coin is also CAC stickered for premium quality. |
