1865 G$1 NGC MS 62
A scarce Civil War issue, the 1865 combines a limited original mintage (3,700 business strikes) with a high rate of melting. Just some lite ticks in the field keep this from grading MS-63 Both sides are orange-gold in color with attractive prooflike tendencies in the fields.
